I keep all my earlier drafts - after all, I might find I like them better - but it's the plan that I find changes. The same happened in ATIH. The original plan is, well, to be honest, pathetic, but it *was* a starting point without which the rest would have not have followed. I sympathise with Tolkien as to "Bingo" and Trotter" being made public by his son - I would *not* want any eyes to see my early planning stages but mine. :D
